Serving the communities of Comox, Courtenay, Cumberland, Comox Valley, Denman Island, Hornby Island and various other locations on Vancouver Island, Dr. Armstrong strongly believes that our bodies have a tremendous capacity for healing and renewal.

Dr. Dawn Armstrong graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a degree in Science, majoring in Chemistry and then furthered her education by receiving her Doctor of Chiropractic from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1988.

She has practiced chiropractic for more than 25 years, working in Toronto, Ontario, Whitehorse, Yukon Territory and most recently in Comox on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

She has worked as an instructor in Anatomy and Physiology for students of Massage Therapy and Practical Nursing, and has been a guest lecturer at North Island College and other venues. Committed to the ongoing education of her patients and the public, she is pleased to provide information services for groups and facilities on a local and regional level.

Committed to your skeletal health and pain relief, Dr. Armstrong welcomes new patients and is willing to consult with you to assess your situation and provide a diagnosis, treatment plan, and report of anticipated outcomes.

Diagnosing the cause of your discomfort is paramount to treatment and recovery, and Dr. Armstrong excels in this area. Her thoroughness and determination will assure that your situation is properly approached and resolved to your satisfaction. She teaches proper stretching techniques as well as exercises to help strengthen the body, and works together with the patient towards postural retraining and injury prevention, resulting in a healthier and happier person.
